iPhone Batteries – Our quality standards

Finding good quality batteries for the iPhones was not easy. Especially because you cannot see the difference between a good or a bad battery with the naked eye. We met a lot (and by that I mean A LOT) of suppliers who told us they could supply us with a steady quality of batteries. We narrowed it down to 3 suppliers and decided to test the batteries in real life. So we asked 3 repair companies to test batteries from 3 suppliers for 2 months. This are the results:

Supplier 18.1% Dead on Arrival / 4% came back for warranty within 2 months
Supplier 2 – 5.3% Dead on Arrival / 29% (!!!) came back for warranty within 2 months
Supplier 3 – 0.2% Dead on Arrival / 0% came back for warranty within 2 months

Well, we didn’t have any high expectations about any iPhone battery as we started this test. But after all, the results off supplier 3 were really good! So we decided to corporate with this supplier and made some important agreements with the supplier to make sure the quality is stable and good. We are selling those batteries now for a couple of moths and there are no returns so far. (I know that it sounds unbelievable, but its true)
